Juliann and Clay
My Husband I met in San Diego, California three days before he moved to Maui, Hawai‘i to join the Maui Police Department. After one year of long distance I moved to Maui to be with him. Two years later we were engaged to be married. We decided to get married in my hometown of Chico in California. I wanted a vintage inspired wedding, and my husband wanted to tie in his Polynesian roots. So our theme was Vintage Polynesian. Our Venue was Centerville Estate’s, which is set along a creek nestled under a cliff. Our colors were champagne, blush and navy blue. Our flowers were blush roses paired with three different types of orchids. The men wore leis, while the bridesmaids had orchid bouquets. We had glass chandelier’s and twinkle lights strung throughout the reception. The tables were adorned with palm leaves and orchids. My dress was a Lazaro style 3607, my dream dress. I had dreamed of wearing a Lazaro for as long as I could remember. It was the perfect combination of our two styles and turned out beautifully. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day.
