John and I met a month into my freshman year of college, and were married nine years later in a historic, seaside mansion in Bristol, RI. I chose my Alvina Valenta dress because it matched the classic/formal feel of the wedding, as well as the champagne and black color scheme we had chosen. It was the third dress I tried on, and I fell in love with it right away!
