Stephanie and Marc

Marc and I met in 2013, working together in Fort Worth, Texas. Within a couple months of knowing each other, we became very close and started dating. We took our first vacation together to Isla Mujeres. This is a tiny little island just over four miles long, right off the coast of Cancun in Mexico. We both have a huge love for the ocean and diving, and because of that, this island has become our home away from home. We've traveled back at least once a year since, and knew we had to tie the knot there. We spent a week down there with fifty of our friends and family, and then an extra few days for ourselves. It was truly the most magical time of my life!! We had a huge group of friends go scuba diving together the day before the wedding. We all ran to the rehearsal dinner in a torrential down pour and knee deep water because it was flooding so fast! The wedding day couldn't have been more perfect. I spent the morning with my mom, nana, mother-in-law, and sisters and best friends. We drank mimosas and got ready together. We had lots of laughs and lots of happy tears. The weather was amazing! Marc and I had our first look out at Punta Sur, which is the most southern tip of the island out on a cliff. Then we had our ceremony, dinner and reception at Zama's Beach Club. Our ceremony was personal and intimate, and we wrote our own vows. There was the most beautiful sunset I've ever seen! It was definitely a party we will never forget!! My dress made me feel like a beautiful island princess. Thank you for creating something so unique. I got to marry my best friend in the dress of my dreams, in our most favorite place in the world.
